Title Your Posts

If you are posting or sharing links your chances of someone clicking through that link will increase significantly if you give them an incentive. Tell them why they should click through. This is an overlooked marketing strategy that is so important in today's social media marketing outlets. Much like Titling your blog posts so that people will be interested in reading it, it is just as important to post some personal words about a shared link.

Tell them why that link means so much to you to have posted it.  Don't repeat yourself, tell them something unique about the link or article. What made you want to read it, or keep reading it. Be honest, be real, and be creative!

Use your titles when planning your blog so that you can see which ones grab you each time and more importantly those that don't. You can make changes to your titles down the road, but you will have missed out on a great marketing opportunity the moment it posts to your social media outlets.
